He founded and served as CEO of Romtec Electronics, which had a successful IPO and exit; biotechnology companies Fulcrum SP and BioGroup Technology; and medical device company QRay. He received an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc. in industrial engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
Leo is the founder and CEO of Med-Tech Consultant Partners. He has more than 35 years of experience in specialty medical devices, IP, regulatory, and reimbursement. He is the founder and former CEO of a multimillion-dollar specialty medical distribution company, which was later acquired.
Stav has more than 8 years experience in engineering, operations, and logistics from positions at HP Indigo and Lumenis. She received a B.Sc. in engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Ofer brings over 18 years of mechanical design, project management, and team leadership in the medical device sector. Prior to joining Gordian, Ofer held the Director of Mechanical Engineering position in XACT Robotics, which develops an innovative medical robot for the interventional radiology suites. Previously, he managed the mechanical team at Medingo, a start-up company that developed an innovative insulin pump and was ultimately acquired by Roche. He received a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
Doni has more than 25 years of medical device experience and has held a number of senior-level marketing positions in general, cardiac and orthopedic surgical products as well as patient monitoring equipment. He is a board-certified Physician Assistant in New York State and has a B.Sc. from Touro College in New York.
Amir is a biomedical engineer with more than 10 years experience in laparoscopic devices, including R&D, QA/RA, training and support. He received his MBA from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and his B.Sc. (honors) in biomedical engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Nissim Geron, M.D., Medical Director for Gordian Surgical since its inception as well as sitting on the company’s Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Geron finished his medical degree at The Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel in 1983 followed by a surgical residency at The Galilee Medical Center of Nahariya. Geron completed a one year fellowship in General Surgery at Mt. Sinai, NYC, in addition to another six month fellowship in Laparoscopic Colo-rectal Surgery at Cleveland Clinic, Florida. Since 2002, Dr. Geron is the Chief of Surgery at Poria Medical Center in Tiberias, Israel. Dr. Geron has more than 30 years experience in laparoscopic procedures.
